Joshua Murray

Joshua Murray brings to the Par Health Board strong leadership in financial strategy, capital markets and equity financing for healthcare and technology companies. He has extensive experience guiding both private and public companies through strategic growth, governance and value creation. 

Mr. Murray currently serves as Chief Financial Officer and Head of Strategy at Orca Bio, a late-stage private company focused on stem cell therapy for patients with terminal blood cancers. 

Previously, he spent nearly 15 years at Goldman Sachs, where he served as a Managing Director in the Investment Banking Division. During his tenure, Mr. Murray worked across multiple business units, most recently on the Capital Markets team, raising equity and equity-linked capital for companies in the healthcare and technology sectors. 

He is a member of the boards of Corcept Therapeutics, a publicly traded biotechnology company engaged in the discovery and development of treatments for severe endocrinologic, oncologic, metabolic and neurologic disorders, and Beyond Meat, a publicly traded plant-based meat company. At Beyond Meat, he also chairs the Nominating and Governance Committee.  

Mr. Murray earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Harvard University.
